Bathroom installation in progress toward a finished tiled room

Bathroom Installation Process

From your first enquiry to the final check, Vlad guides the planning, preparation, fitting and tiling so you know what happens next.

You can start with a short message about the work. Photos, measurements and links to fittings or tiles can follow when they are useful—you do not need to prepare everything before contacting us.

Practical guidance with your choices

Your bathroom should suit how you want to use it. Vlad can point out when a layout, fitting or tile choice may be awkward to use, clean or repair, so you can decide what works best for your home.

From your first enquiry to completion

  1. 1. Tell us what you want to change

Start with a short message about your bathroom. You can include photographs or product links if you already have them, and Vlad can arrange a quote visit when appropriate.

  2. 2. Discuss your bathroom at the quote visit

You can explain how you use the room, what is not working well and what you would like to improve. Vlad can take measurements and check the existing layout, plumbing positions and visible condition of the walls and floor.

  3. 3. Agree the work and your choices

You choose the bathroom suite, fittings and tiles. Vlad can check their suitability and quantities, help prepare the shopping list and make sure the agreed work is reflected in the quote.

  4. 4. Prepare for the installation

Before work begins, the start date and important deliveries are confirmed. Access, floor protection, waste disposal and whether any bathroom facilities can remain usable can also be discussed.

  5. 5. Complete the installation

Vlad and Niko carry out the agreed removal and preparation before completing the plumbing, fitting and tiling. Tiled bath and shower areas are waterproofed before the tiles are fitted.

  6. 6. Finish and check the work

The finishing details are completed, and the working area is cleaned and organised. The finished work is checked with you, and you will be advised when the bathroom or shower can be used. The main payment is made on completion.

How long will the work take?

Most standard full bathroom projects take approximately 5-7 working days. Before work begins, the expected timescale will be discussed with you.

Larger rooms or projects requiring additional preparation, plumbing changes, more detailed tiling or longer drying times may take longer.

Practical questions

Do I need to choose everything before requesting a quote?

No. You can contact us with a simple description of what you would like to change. Product links and tile choices can be added later, and Vlad can check their suitability before the final plan and shopping list are agreed.

Who buys the bathroom suite, fittings and tiles?

Customers normally purchase their bathroom suite, fittings and wall and floor tiles. Vlad can help prepare or check the shopping list, advise on suitability and quantities, and recommend commonly used suppliers.

Can I use the bathroom while work is being carried out?

During a complete bathroom renovation, the bathroom will normally be out of use while the work is taking place. During partial bathroom updates, the toilet or other unaffected facilities may remain available, depending on the work involved.

When can I use the shower after the work is finished?

For a newly tiled shower area, Vlad normally recommends waiting approximately one week after grouting before using the shower, allowing the grout to dry and cure properly.
